Stuart Warner
Stuart Warner, The Write Coach, can make you a better writer. He has written or edited three Pulitzer Prize-winning entries and edited three other Pulitzer finalists during almost 40 years at daily newspapers. His writers have won more than 50 other major national awards.

Warner launched a Writing for New Media course at Case Western Reserve University, where he also taught Literary Journalism.

He was honored as Ohio’s best freelance writer in 2010 and writes a regular column for Cleveland Magazine.

Jock, book coverWarner has been invited to speak on writing and journalism at Harvard, Columbia, the National Writers Workshop, the Poynter Institute and many others. He was the writing coach at The Plain Dealer for 10 years and was an online national editor for AOL News.

The Write Coach’s clients have included The Daily, Key Bank, The Plain Dealer, MetroHealth Hospital Systems and the American Religion Data Archives at Penn State University.

Warner has edited several books, including The Bond, by Margaret Bernstein; Life Happens, by Connie Schultz, and Gimme Rewrite, Sweetheart, by John Tidyman.

His first book, JOCK: A Coach’s Story, was published in 2010.
